DEPOSITS:
A deposit is required for all appointments. No Exceptions. The deposit will be deducted from the FINAL price of the tattoo. For a multiple session tattoo the deposit will be deducted from the cost of the final session. Deposits can be made via PAYPAL or VENMO or, if discussed ahead of time, in person at the shop.
Deposits must be made at the time of your consultation. Your appointment will not be final until a deposit is made.
If you fail to show up for your scheduled appointment, or reschedule without at least 48-hours prior notice, you will forfeit your deposit.
No refunds on deposits. Non-transferrable. NO exceptions.
CONSULTATIONS: currently consultations will be handled via email unless an in person visit is required. If that is the case, a consultation appointment must be scheduled. Most consultations can be done via email.
PRICING INFORMATION
I generally price by the piece with the exception for large scale work, because I tend to work quickly and efficiently.
Shop minimum is $100.00
Any further questions about pricing your tattoo can only be answered in person.
Exceptions will be made for those travelling to get tattooed. Email me directly for more information.
AFTER CARE
GENERAL AFTERCARE ( TEGADERM INSTRUCTIONS, COMING SOON )
DO'S
Remove bandage within one to two hours.
Gently wash tattoo with antibacterial soap. Liquid Dial is preferred. Nothing with perfumes or medication.
Pat dry with a clean paper towel.
Apply a very thin layer of Aquaphor or A&D ointment. Aquaphor is preferred. If you have any questions about any other aftercare cream or ointment please contact me before using by phone or via email.
You do not need to rebandage.
Wash tattoo and apply ointment 2x-3x a day for NO MORE than 2 days.
After 2 days switch from ointment to a non-medicated fragrance-free lotion. I like Lubriderm and it is available in a travel size so it's easy to take with you. Use lotion as needed until the tattoo is healed. Generally between 2-3 weeks.
DON'TS
While healing, keep your tattoo clean and away from anything that may contaminate it. Treat it like the open wound that it is.
No Swimming. That includes pools, lakes, oceans, hot tubs, baths, etc. Showering is ok [and appreciated by your friends and family, I'm sure] but you do not want to submerge your tattoo in water.
Do not pick at or scratch your new tattoo. Flaking/peeling is normal after a few days, just keep clean and leave it alone. If there is any scabbing do not pick at it, let it heal and fall off on its own.
Do not scrub your new tattoo. No sponges or loofas.
Avoid scented body wash/shampoo, etc.
DO NOT listen to anyone outside of myself or someone at the shop in regards to aftercare for a tattoo that I have applied. Your friend who uses medicated ointments or rubs dirt on it or lets his dog lick it clean doesn't know what they're talking about. (sorry but they most likely, don't)
This also applies for tattoos I DID NOT do. Do not follow my instructions for tattoo that someone else has given you. Each artist has their preferred healing methods and you should follow THEIR instructions for THEIR tattoos.
